Annie Cile Holloway

Sister Annie Cile Holloway departed this life in the early morning hours of May 24, 2026, at the age of 73. She transitioned peacefully at her residence in Enterprise, Alabama, to return to her Heavenly Father.

Sister Holloway was born April 15, 1953, to the late Deacon Eddie Lee Holloway and Sister Annie Ruth Holloway in Enterprise, Alabama, the cherished member of a family of nine children. She received her education at Coppinville High School and, at a tender age, committed her life to Christ through baptism at Pleasant Shade Missionary Baptist Church, where she maintained membership throughout her lifetime.

Distinguished by her spirited demeanor, known as "Mama Do", Sister Holloway possessed a deep appreciation for life, devotion to family, and enthusiasm for the Alabama Crimson Tide and Dallas Cowboys Football teams. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and four brothers: Henry Holloway, Willie Lee Holloway, Clarence Holloway, and Johnny Holloway.

Sister Holloway is survived by her devoted daughter, Pamela “Boo” Holloway (her only child) of Chicago, Illinois; her siblings Grace Henderson of Enterprise, Alabama; James Holloway (Patricia) of Dothan, Alabama; Mary Jean Moore of Enterprise, Alabama; and Louis Frank Holloway (Kirsten) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sister Holloway was held in the highest regard within her community, and her legacy shall endure through all those whose lives she touched.
