Annette Bullard was born January 10, 1935 to the late William Bullard and Gussie Daniels Bullard in Elba, Alabama. She was married to the late Richard Brunson of Elba, Alabama. Annette Bullard Brunson loved the Lord and at an early age accepted Christ as her personal savior and became a lifelong member of Greater Bethel AME in Elba.
Annette was employed by Klienert’s in Elba, AL for more than 20 years. Later she became a foster grandparent for Elba Head Start and the Elba Elementary School. Her generosity and love for children was well-known by many in her community and the school district. She spent her later years enjoying the fellowship of friends at the Elba Senior Citizen Center.
On December 18, 2018, at the age of 83, she departed her earthly body and made a peaceful transition to her heavenly home.
Annette was proceeded in death by her parents, William Bullard and Gussie Daniels Bullard; husband, Richard Brunson; daughter, Malissa Brunson; sister, Margaret Blue; and brother, Durward Bullard. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Jackquelyn (Demetrus) Crittenden of Elba, Alabama and Debra (Lester) Magwood of Ozark, Alabama; one son, Richard (JoAnne) Brunson of Huntsville, Alabama; one sister; Willa Alma McBride of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; one brother, James Bullard of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; two sisters-in-law, Betty White of Enterprise, Alabama and Linda Bynum of Midland City, Alabama; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
