On Sunday morning January 3, 2021 God called an angel home. Alton was born February 3, 1947 in Scottland County, NC to the late Silor Stewart and the late Louise McEachin Hall. He was 73 years old. Alton attended Shaw High High School in Lauringburg, NC and eventually joined the United States Army. Alton was stationed at Ft. Rucker, AL in 1966 and then he furthered his work skills and began working for civil service Ft. Rucker, AL as a medical supply technician. He retired after 20 years. After his retirement Alton began working for AFS Fort Rucker, AL as a aircraft mechanic. He was a hard worker and provided for his family. Mr. Alton met the love of his life Mary Hilda McEachin and they joined in matrimony on May 10, 1968 they were united until God called him home. He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving and devoted wife Mary Hilda McEachin of Enterprise, AL; one son: Alton McEachin Jr. (Renee) of Enterprise, AL, one daughter: Sirrander Deneese McNair (Alex Tyrone) of Enterprise, AL; five brothers: Bobby L. Hall of Savannah, GA, Raleigh Hall Jr. (Marilyn) of Midway, NC, Woodrow Hall of Midway, NC, Albert McEachin (Elaine) of Richmond, VA, Glenn McLamb (Margaret) of Roseboco, NC, two sisters Eva King (David) of Newton Grove, NC; and Mary Frances Tabron Newton Grove, NC; one brother in law: Alfred Moore (Genetta) of Clio, AL, eight grandchildren: Hilexis Diggs (Joshua) of Daleville, AL, Alexiante Winston (Lamarkus) of Enterprise, AL, Alexandria Wright (Jeffery) of West Melbourne, FL, Alex Tyrone McNair Jr. (Tamia) of Enterprise, AL , Antonio McEachin (Kiasia) of West Virginia, Diamond McEachin of Enterprise, AL, Alexis McNair of Panama City, FL, Sherrie Foster of Enterprise, AL; seventeen great grandchildren, four God children: Theron Cole, Shay Horton, Derek King, and Makayla McNair and a host of nieces and nephews.
Alton is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: James Hall, Cordell Hall, one grandson: Kafeedrick McEachin and special friend Earnest Herring.
