Shelby Whitfield

Shelby Lee Whitfield was born August 7, 1941 died October 29, 2018 at Elba Health and Rehab.

Shelby is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Mae (Whitfield) Rhodes, father Willie Maurice and brother Jessie Adams Whitfield.

He leaves to cherish his memories two children; Jessie Stackhouse (Gabriel Head), and Ina Howell (Carl Howell) both of Elba, AL, brother; James Whitfield of Hunnington, NY, three step kids whom he raised; Archie Wilkerson (Katrina) Samson, AL, Annie Caldwell (Joseph) Opp, AL and Dorthy White, Syracuse, NY, seven grandchildren; Dorthy and Thomas Whitfield, Curtis Curry, Lorell, Jessica, Erica, and Isiah Wilkerson, five great grandchildren; DeVorian,Olivia, Denyia, Jakeen, and Halie Wilkerson, three step grand children; Jashawn, Aliyante Hammonds, Chase Coleman, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
