Shamica Rondeshia Michelle Dixon was born to George Dixon and Dell Whitehurst Hornsby on July 6, 1981 in Enterprise, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Enterprise, Alabama.
Shamica completed her education in the Enterprise City School system where she was a member of Enterprise High School class of 1999. She later furthered her education by obtaining her associates and bachelors degrees in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix. She was employed by Wal-Mart where she remained until her health failed.
Shamica was known for her sense of humor, her love for Superman, sports and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid Auburn football fan, War Eagle, and loved LeBron James. God, in His infinite wisdom and compassion, peacefully called Shamica home to eternal rest on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alberta Dixon; grandfather, Rev. John Whitehurst; and great grandmother, Alma D. Taylor.
