Sarah Young

Sis. Sarah Nan Young was born to P.J. and Ruby Cile Young in Elba, AL on June 23, 1959. She closed her eyes on  this side to sleep in peace on October 14, 2019 at UAB Hospital Birmingham, A.L. with her loving  faithful sons; Anthony and DeMarcus by her side. 
 Nan was a lifelong resident of Elba, A.L. and attended Elba High School. Nan had a giant heart of pure gold, she loved everyone and saw the good in every single person that she came in contact with, Nan carried the sparkle and sound everyone knew that it was time for a celebration to begin when she sounded the alarm.
She was preceded in death by her father; P.J. Young, she leaves loving memories to her sons; Anthony Young, DeMarcus Young Elba, A.L., mother; sis. Ruby Cile Young Elba, A.L. two brothers; Edward ( Norma) Young Elba, A.L., Bernard Coleman Chandler, A.Z., sister; Ruby Levens Elba, A.L., great niece; Nobel Rasheed Birmingham, A.L. best friend/sister for over 20 years; Chequita Walker, special sisters; Zena Cole, Carman Kelley, Evelyn Knight, Pat Coleman, Jennifer Walker, Yolando Coleman, and Jackie Whitfield and a host of  loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
