R.C. Terry was born to the late William L. (Louie) Hooks and Gladys Terry Griffin on April 20, 1940 in Enterprise, AL. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age, becoming a member of Adams Street Church of Christ until his passing. He joined hands in marriage on March 15, 1961 to Margaret Ann Evans, together they raised a family. He was a hard worker and sharp dresser. A man of integrity with strong family values. He worked 30 plus years at Ft. Rucker, AL where he enjoyed working as an Aircraft Mechanic.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Bud and Annie Bell Terry, mother Gladys Terry Griffin, father; William L (Louie) Hooks, brothers; William L. Holmes and John D. Holmes, sister; Eula Griffin and daughter Phyllis Diane Terry.
R.C. leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife Margaret A. Terry, three sons; Raymond (Cynthia), Andre, and James Terry, one daughter; Angelia Neville (Darryl), brother; James L. Holmes and loving sister; Dr. Barbara Holmes-Hampton and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives.
