Peggy Cole Tillis

Peggy Lee Cole-Tillis was born April 8 1949 in Coffee County to the late James and Ola Lee Cole.  Early Friday morning on September 13, 2019, at her home the angels came down and took her to his heavenly home where she will live eternally.

Peggy was the youngest of thirteen kids, she graduated from Mulberry Heights High School in Elba Alabama with the class of 1968.  In 1971 Peggy graduated from Douglas MacArthur Technical Institute in Opp, Alabama with a two year degree in nursing.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two daughters and three sons, Michelle (Stacy) Stanton of Manhattan, KS, Tony Cole of Dozier, AL, Donnie (Bettina) Cole of Grafenwohr, GE, Christina Tillis of Dozier, AL and Charles (LaTrice) Tillis of Fort Stewart, GA.

Eleven grandchildren: Justin West, Ebony West, De’andre Cole, Donnetria Cole, Davenya Cole, Devin Cole, LaQuentin Mitchell, Briana Mitchell, Zariya Tillis, Taniya Tillis and Tyler Tillis

Four great-grand kids: Donovan West, Braylin Mcghee, Brycen June, and Kaden Tuck

Two brothers, Nathenial Cole and Monroe Cole; and one sister, Ruth Singleton

Peggy also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
