Michael Issac Townsend was born on Wednesday, October 7, 1981 to Diane Townsend and the late Doug Hobdy in Enterprise, AL. Michael departed this life Saturday, August 18, 2018 as a result of a horrible car accident. Michael was baptized into the Church Of Jesus Christ. Even at a young age Michael walked around like he was a minister. He would perform little mini sermons with a briefcase and cowboy boots. he grew out of this stage of life and formed a 3-brother posse called "the wrecking crew" with his brothers, Marvin and Merlin. During his time in prison Michael found a new faith and converted to the Nation of Islam. During this period, he focused on many objectives, especially finishing his high school education and learning a trade. He found comfort in many different principles from the Nation of Islam and from a book titled the Art Of War by Sun Tzu. Michael used many of those teachings to navigate through life. With Michael, what you saw was genuine, not fake. He believed he could carry a conversation with anyone on any topic or level. He is proceeded in death by his father, Doug Hobdy, Maternal Grandparents, Lonnie and Ellon Dot Johnson, Great-Grand parents; Robert and Alice Hobdy and Waxie Lee and Fannie Dell Townsend. and Great Great grandparents Rufus and Nettie Bishop Townsend. Michael leaves to cherish his memories, Mother, Diane Dozier, son Jayden Makhel Blackmon. paternal grandparents Linda and Fred Brown, five sisters Angela Townsend, Dalqliesh Townsend, Ellon Dot Townsend, Stephanie Wilson, Patricia Dozier, four brothers, Lonnie (Sheliea) Townsend, Marvin ( Meagan) Townsend, Merlin (Mayrene) Townsend, and Patrick ( LaTasha) Dozier special friend, Chandra Miller, and numerous of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
