Ms. Mary Ann Thigpen was born in Coffee County on July 2, 1952 to Beter and Evelyn Thigpen. She joined Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful dedicated member until her death.
Mary Ann attended Mulberry Heights School. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and watching the Atlanta Braves and WWE Wrestling.
Mary Ann departed this life on Saturday October 13, 2018 at Medical Center Enterprise. Mary is preceded in death by her mother; Evelyn, father; Beter, two sisters; Mary Ilean and Vivian, two brothers; James and Jimmy, two bothers in law; Earl and Herman.
Mary Ann leaves to mourn a son; Jessie, three grandsons; Zarion, Jayceon, and Mariyion, two sisters; Alice Elba, AL, Margie Enterprise, AL, one aunt; Helen Thigpen Elba, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
