Lynn AllenDecember 4, 1955 ~ August 6, 2017 (age 61)
Lynn Allen was born in Enterprise, Alabama on December 4, 1955 to Hildren and Johnnie Mae McSwain Allen (both predeceased). He entered Heaven's gates on August 6, 2017. he is survived by his loving wife, Peggy, 2 daughters, Aja Juanita Allen and Tia Ivonne Allen; his granddaughter, Aja Jordynn Allen; his "sister-cousin' Sharon Moore, her husband and daughter, Ernest and Ashley Moore; seven aunts Jessie Pearl Merritt, Minnie Mitchell, Hazel McSwain Rexine McSwain, Gail Smith, Mary McSwain, Pinkie McSwain: one uncle- John McSwain and his wife, Maryann McSwain,; 2 nieces -Nicole (Allen) Payne and Maltona Allen and an additional family consisting of 3 sisters-in-law, a bother-in-law, nieces and nephews from his wife's side of the family. A special mention goes to the numerous devoted friends who touched his life and to their lives he inspired and mentored. Before God called Lynn to come join Him in Heaven, he made every moment he had on earth count. He graduated from Enterprise High School and completed higher level education to receive his MSA in information resource management. He joined the U.S Air Force where he started out being and Administration Specialist, but ended his military career as an Electronics Warfare Systems Specialist. after retiring from the Air Force, Lynn continued to progress. he worked in the civilian sector for to years, before he was hired in to the government sector. He progressed quickly through the ranks working as Assistant Inspector General for Information Technology for the U.S Department of State; Associate CIO for Cyber Security for the U.S Department of Agriculture; Acting Chief Information Officer for the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and finally , principal deputy chief information officer for HUD.
