Lila Copeland Lee

Lila Bell Copeland Lee was born in Ozark, AL on February 19, 1949 to the late Mr. Joseph Paul and Mrs. Cora Smith Copeland. She departed this earthly life on June 19, 2018 and entered into eternal life with Christ. 
Lila was a loving , caring, and inspiring, woman of God. She met no strangers and she welcomed you with open arms and a smile. At a young age she accepted Christ. Lila enjoyed to shop, play bingo, travel and spend time with her family, especially with her late sister Mrs. Kathleen C. Newby. When they were together they were inseparable and loved each other as Christ loves us. When able she enjoyed fellowship with others and being in the house of God.
 Lila will truly and deeply be missed by all who knew her. She is proceeded in death by both parents, three brothers; Clifford, Carl, Colon, (Bubba), three sisters; Mildred, Kathleen (Kat), and Barbra (Bobby),  niece Natasha (Nikki) Byrd, and  a great friend Ann Arenas.
Lila leaves behind her precious memories: brother in law;  Johnny Newby II Daleville, AL, nephew and nieces; Roy Byrd Dothan, AL, Billy Byrd Kansas, Johnny Byrd Kentucky, Jeff Byrd Enterprise, AL, Barbara Fields Birmingham, AL, Danny (Jamie) Copeland Daleville, AL, Johny Newby Ariton, AL, Shametrice Newby, Daz Brundidge, Timothy Henderson Jr, Daleville, AL , Angelica (Stephen) Cornett, Julia Cornett, Olivia Cornett of Enterprise, AL, Joseph Newby Biloxi MS, Acelia Byrd, Tyler, Christian, Payden Birmingham, AL, Whitney Newby, Mi'Kah Newby, Shane McLin Daleville, AL, Brittany Newby Schofield, HI, two close cousins Rose Holmes and Irene White of Enterprise, AL. A close friend Gerldine, and a host of other relatives and friends.
