K T Thomas Obituary

Kt Thomas was born February 6, 1942 in Coffe County to the late Lorenza and Flora Hicks  Thomas. He attended EJ Lewis High School in Samson, Alabama. On March 16, 2018 he heard an angel whisper, come home my child.

 

He retired from Dorsey Trailers after many years of service, also was a bus driver with the Enterprise City School System. He enjoyed fishing and going to church. KT joined Piney Grove COGIC at an early age. After which he joined Greater Springfield Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and usher, at his death he was a member of World International Revival Center of Enterprise, AL. KT was united in  marriage to Catherine Haynes-Smith , June 11, 1988 and remain together for 29 blissful years.

 

He was preceded in death by his son Marcus Lorenza Thomas. Father and Mother Lorenza and Thomas. One sister Annie Lois King; four brothers; Robert, Fred, William, and Leo Thomas

 

 

 

 

Left to cherish his memories; a devoted wife of 29 years, Catherine Thomas; Four sons; Willlie Wise, Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Curtis Thomas, Detroit, MI. Robert and Rodney Smith, New Brockton, AL, five Daughters. Pam, Shirley, Jewel Thomas, Detroit, MI and Patricia Thomas, Harper, CT,  Robin Conyers, Enterprise, AL, five brothers Jimmy (Janice) Thomas, Atlanta, GA; Gillis ( Gwen) Thomas, Pensacola, FL; Dennis (Vivian) and Fredrick (Latasha) Thomas, Enterprise, AL, John Lee (Sue) Thomas, Enterprise, AL four sisters; Mary L. (David) McClaib, Auburn, NY; Annie Cunningham, Lacey Thomas and Ethel ( Kenneth) Herring all of Enterprise, AL. Twelve sister-in-law's; Pearl Thomas, Philadelphia, PA. Ruby Thomas, Defuniak Springs, FL, Annie Dell Thomas, Troy, AL; Dorothy Flowers, New Brockton, Al; Glenda Gayie-Haynes ( Reiders) White, Enterprise, AL and Alma Lois Likely. Hyattsville, MD; Three brothers –in-law; Ronald L (Sharon) Haynes, Ozark, AL
