John Dubose was an educated man attaining a degree in Criminal Justice after serving in the Airforce during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Army Fleet Support where he retired after 33 years. He is known for his sense of humor and oh how he liked to talk when he did get to talking. He enjoyed fishing, sports (especially boxing), relaxing to himself and spending time with friends and family. John had several aunts, uncles cousins, and other relatives.
The Most High, in His infinite wisdom and compassion, peacefully called John home to eternal rest on a Saturday, Nov 30, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Vera Brundige, Mother Minnie Pearl Finn and Stepfather Albert Finn, Brothers James Brown and Whimp. The precious and loving memories of John will be forever cherished by his children from his former wives (Phyllis Dedrick): Calvin Smith, Shoneek Patterson, Sherry DuBose, John DuBose Jr. Telsha DuBose, Therron Stewart and (Frieda): Cynthia DuBose-Adams and Roderick DuBose. His sisters and brothers: Nora J. Arrington, Martha P. Petty, Diane Martin, Harry McCray, two nieces and 5 nephews.
