Born in  Clio, AL on December 8, 1931, Gussie attended Clio Public school.  She joined Big Creek Baptist church at an early age; where she gained her faith in Christ.  Her life ‘s journey led her to Daleville, Alabama where she worked many jobs including long hours and early mornings to ensure those around her were taken care of.  She was a social person who enjoyed her life and made many friends along the way. 
 
Preceded in death by her father; Gus Galloway and precious mother Etheline Bizzell (Big Granny), Gussie, an only child, created a large family who are left to cherish her memories and continue the legacy.  

Family is a gift that last forever; cherish each moment and make new memories.

The seeds of Gussie L. Moody:
Five daughters: Ethel M. Galloway (3 sons), Sandra J. Moody (1 daughter), Teresa A. Moody (2 daughters), Delice E. Moody and Scottie Moody (2 sons, 1 daughter). Three sons: Joe S. Moody (4 daughters, 3 sons), Gus G. Moody (1 son) and Allen B. Moody (1 daughter, 1 son). 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. 

A very special friend, Mary Gamble and a host of other dear friends along the way.
