He was the eighth child of sixteen brothers and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories. His brother, Rev. Cliff Tyson (Gladys), his sister, Alice Freeney (Rev. Elbert Freeny);  His three sons, Kinnie Tyson (Wanda Tyson), Dr. C Tyson (Antoinette Julien), Cloy D. King  (Laynora King); his daughter, Cachina King Patterson (Cornelius Patterson); His grandchildren, Jason Tyson, Mykaela Tyson and Chez Suzanne Ruth Tyson.
