Carolyn Blackmon

Carolyn Bowden Blackman, age 75 of  Elba, 
Alabama passed away at 3:15 A.M., Friday, 
February 8, 2019, at home surrounded by  family.

Carolyn was born January 27, 1944, in Elba, 
Alabama to the late Charlie and Winnie Dell (Wambles) Bowden. She attended Elba City Schools and later graduated from Troy State
University. She retired in 1976, after working 25 years at Fort Rucker, Alabama.

She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, John W. Blackmon, Elba, AL, son; Kim Blackmon Elba, AL, daughter; Lori Poyner, Niceville, FL, son; Tim (Tina) Blackmon, Ocean Springs MS, 
daughter; Dori (Ronnie) Crawley, Florala, AL, daughter; Mandy (Travis) Powers, Elba, AL, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
