Blondell Johnson

 Her Beginning– Mrs. Blondell Olivia Johnson was born to the union of the late Mildred Hudson and Will Henry Williams on March 19, 1940.

Her Religion– She joined the Friendship Baptist Church in Enterprise, AL at an early age, later becoming a member of the usher board.

Her Marriage– Mrs. Johnson joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie Lee Johnson on April 20, 1956. To whom six children were born; Willie Ray Detroit, MI, Sylvia Ann who preceded her in death in 1984, Carolyn Delois ( Alonzo) Montgomery, AL, James Arthur and Jacquelyn Linett Enterprise, AL, Demetrius Augusta GA, upon the death of her daughter she adopted her grandson Dorrian D. Johnson (J.D. Candidate) of Birmingham, AL as a son.

She was the proud grandmother of seven other grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. 

Her work– she was employed at New Brockton Head Start as head cook and Enterprise Medical Center Dietitian until 1973. She was a member of Club Yesepoch until her illness. 

Homegoing– The Lord graciously called her into His glory on October 16, 2018 as she was peacefully resting at home.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; children and adopted son, seven grand children, seven great grand children, eight great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and many devoted and loving cousins.
