Keneth Ray Evans, affectionately known as Kenny Ray and Ray Ray, was born June 12, 1968, to Tommy Junior and the late Aldine Davis Evans.
Known as a gentle giant and a sweet, spirited soul, Kenny Ray joined St. John Baptist Church at an early age. When his health allowed, he would attend other churches within the Roeton Community. He especially enjoyed singing and talking on the phone with family and friends. He was so excited to be a part of the Roeton Community reunion Choir. And let us be reminded that his love of sports never wavered, he was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan “Roll Tide”. As much as he enjoyed life and being a valued part of our family, the Lord needed him more.
Kenny Ray is preceded in death by his mother Aldine Davis Evans, two brothers Dallas Terry and Alphonso Luther, one sister Patricia Williams, Grandparents John and Emma Lee Davis, Tom and Mattie F. Evans and two special brothers Mitchell Pearson and Willie Wheeler.
