Ray Lee Flowers was born to the late George Henry Flowers and Florine Sistrunk Flowers on July 16, 1943 in Enterprise, Alabama. He was the third child of eight siblings.

He met the love of his life, the late Jeanell Carlisle Flowers and married her on October 1.  Four children were born to this union, Alicia Jeanell (Timothy) Brooks, Sarah Nell Flowers, Flora Denise (Greg) Scott and Willie Ray (Marci) Flowers.

Ray Lee was a well known and highly respected entrepreneur who operated many businesses and continued to love, support and nurture his family.

Cherishing his memories are; eleven grandchildren, LaKesha (Darnell Sr) Flowers-Leonard, Teresa Stafford, Jerry Brown Jr, Ashley Stafford, Niki Brown, Jamarcus Scott, Christopher Flowers, Chakelia Brown, Quentin (Jasmine) Flowers, Fantasia Flowers and Jaheem Flowers. Twenty-six great grandchildren; two special great grandchildren, Jzurih Khalil Flowers and Jumirrus Malik Flowers; and one great-great grandchild, four sisters, Doris (Clifford) Donaldson, Linda (Raymond) Carter, Diane (Guy) Williams and Virginia (Alphonso) Berry-(deceased); three brothers, George (Lee) Flowers Jr., Willie (Ruth Ann) Flowers-(deceased) and Joe Flowers (Anthony Copeland).  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
