Mr. James Edward Blackman was born July 3, 1957 to the late Bobby Blackmon and Joycelin Wilder.

James graduated from Enterprise High School. He worked at Session Peanut Mill for 22 years until he retired. He served in the National Guard for 13 years.

His grandchildren Ja’Reah and Ja’Reece Blackmon proceed him in death.

James leaves to cherish his memories his wife Mrs. Nora Dixon Blackman; Children: Chanika Elaine Sanders, Jamison Edreece Blackmon, Desretta Chandelle Blackmon (Rastiad) Jareece Edward Blackmon, Jamarcus Dixon, Jason Dixon (Retta Dixon), Eric King, Shan Womack, Miranda King, Jermey Harris; Siblings Bobbie J McCray, Jewellene B. Johnson, Dorthy L. Clay, Bobbie A. Blackmon ( James Edwards), Ricky G. Blackmon, Norma R. Ball, Jenny F. Wilder, Billy J. Wilder, Frederick L. Wilder (Belinda Wilder); 5 brother-in-laws 1 daughter-in-law-3 sister-in-law a father-in-law Leepoleon Dixon; 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
