Gregory Andre Brooks was the first born of Bernest and Beatrice Brooks.  He was born on the 19th day of March 1953.  His place of birth was Gibson Hospital, Enterprise (Coffee County) Alabama.  He was a member of Southside Church of Christ Enterprise, AL.  Gregory transitioned from this life on July 4, 2017.  He left a host of family and friends to each of their memories of their personal encounter with him. 

In his immediate family, he is survived by his parents,  Bernest and Beatrice Brooks of Enterprise, Alabama; sisters, Deborah Brooks Rivers of Dothan, Alabama and Constance Denise Brooks-West of Chester, Virginia; brother-in-law, Mark West of Chester, Virginia, and brother, Timothy DeMarcus Brooks of Jack,  Alabama.  He also left loving memories with three nieces, Veronica Rivers of St. Petersburg, Florida, Iyalonna Brooks-West and Adrionna Brooks-West both of Chester, Virginia.

Gregory’s educational trek began at Coppinville Elementary and continued at Enterprise High School, where he graduated to continue higher education pursuits at Alabama State University. He was employed as an illustrator at Ft. Rucker, Alabama for a few years.  For those who knew him, you really couldn’t unknow Gregory Andre` Brooks … aka Grego!
