On Tuesday night at 6:23 October 31, 2017  A  Marine took his final call. He made his final creed to God, family and country. “Semper Fi” (Always Faithful).

Durant was born on  March 11,1958 in Enterprise, Alabama. He attended Enterprise High School. He was a member of St. Beulah Baptist Church Enterprise Al.  He served in the United States Marines Corps. Durant was united in marriage to Glenna J. White who proceed him in death. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving parents, Leonard H. Brown and Fred Brown III, One son, Victor Mullins of Killeen TX, two step sons Richard and Christopher Lee of San Francisco, California. Two brothers Durrey Alston and Dexter White of Enterprise Al. A sister Deborah Dale White of Sumter, South Carolina. Five Aunts Alberta Bass, Mary Brown both of Enterprise, AL, Mary F. Jackson, Laundria Brown of Mobile, AL, Jacqueline Webster and Albert Duncan of Sacramento, California. Four Uncles Clifton Brown, James E. Brown, Paul Brown and Donzell Brown all of Mobile, AL.  A special Friend Dorothy A. Shorts.

 He was preceded in death by one brother Douglas Hobdy, Grandparents Robert and Alice Hobdy ,George and Bernice Osborne, two  Aunts Ruby L. Rudolph and Aunt Annie J. Phillips
